FAQ

Yes. Motorhomes and large American RVs are welcome at our Broxburn bay. Approximate bay confidence is about 10 m long, 10 m high and 4.1 m wide (up to around 4.5 m wide). Call ahead on 0330 520 2380 if you are unsure about size.

No. Albyn MOT is legal roadworthiness testing. Living systems such as gas, electrics, water and damp sit with our sister brand, Habitation Checks Scotland, at the same Broxburn family. Soft hand-off details are on the Habitation tab. They are related brands, not the same service.

Workshop work and many MOT paths are POA (price on application). Online payment is a deposit only. It secures your slot. It does not cover the full cost. After inspection we confirm parts and labour, agree the total with you, then deduct the deposit from the final balance before work starts. Book via Book Now or call 0330 520 2380.

Same-day slots and walk-ins may be possible, subject to availability. Space is not guaranteed. Walk-ins should expect to prepay a deposit. Calling ahead is the surest way to avoid a wasted journey.

Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00. We are closed weekends and public holidays unless otherwise stated.

Yes. Alongside MOT testing we offer minor repairs including brakes, tyres, belts and general servicing, quoted first (POA). See Tyre & Servicing for scope and to start a booking request.

MOT slots are typically about one hour. Allow a little extra if you have combined workshop work, or if we need to discuss advisories with you afterwards.

Bring the vehicle with enough fuel, your keys, and a contact number we can reach you on. Previous MOT paperwork or advisory notes help if you have them. You do not need the V5C for a standard MOT appointment.
